I was in a Hindu temple somewhere. I was talking to a beautiful grey duck and was listening to me attentively. I was shocked to see a beautiful snake like cobra some inches and was like a cobra looking at me. Then I said my Mantra om namah shivaya and then it went. Before moving out, a lion came and I rushed outside and closed the door of the temple and all the animals were inside.
Dreams can be complex and often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This particular dream contains several significant symbols that can be interpreted in various ways:
Hindu Temple: The temple represents a place of spirituality, introspection, and connection to the divine. Being in a temple suggests that you are seeking guidance, wisdom, or a deeper understanding of yourself and your beliefs.
Grey Duck: Ducks often symbolize adaptability and emotional calmness. A grey duck that listens attentively may represent a part of yourself that is open and receptive to new ideas, emotions, or perspectives. The color grey can also suggest neutrality or balance.
Cobra: Cobras often hold powerful symbolism in many cultures, particularly in Hinduism, where they can represent both danger and spiritual power. Seeing a cobra may signify confronting a hidden fear or an aspect of yourself that is both intriguing and intimidating. Your instinct to chant your mantra suggests that you are seeking protection or guidance amidst this fear.
Mantra "Om Namah Shivaya": This is a sacred mantra in Hinduism dedicated to Lord Shiva, representing transformation and the destruction of ignorance. Chanting this mantra in your dream indicates a desire to reach a higher state of consciousness or to eliminate negativity and fears within yourself.
Lion: The lion symbolizes strength, courage, and leadership. In your dream, the appearance of the lion right before you leave the temple could suggest that you are being called to face your inner strength. Your instinct to rush outside at its presence may indicate a struggle between wanting to confront this power and feeling the need to protect yourself.
Closing the Door: The act of closing the door may represent a desire to protect yourself from the powerful energies inside (the animals) or your own feelings. It may also indicate a boundary you are setting in your life regarding certain emotions or situations.
Putting it all together, your dream might reflect a journey of self-discovery, wherein you are exploring your spiritual beliefs, confronting fears or challenges (represented by the cobra and lion), and seeking balance in your emotional state (symbolized by the grey duck). The dream suggests that you are in a phase of transformation, learning to embrace both your fears and inner strength, while also establishing boundaries to protect your emotional wellbeing.
